Actor Eric Fructuoso shared that during the lockdown, he received help from actor Mark Herras and his family.

Eric is just one of many showbiz personalities who got affected by the current health crisis in the country. For quite a while, showbiz engagements took a halt and so many people became jobless. Although the situation in the industry eased up right now, opportunities are still limited.

In a recent interview, Eric revealed that during the lockdown, one of the persons who helped him was Mark Herras. Based on the article in Bandera, the former Gwapings members said that he is thankful to Mark and his family for allowing him to have his meals in their house when he had no means of income.

On the other hand, there was one showbiz personality who helped Eric Fructuoso. However, the actor did not reveal the identity of the said showbiz personality who gave him P20,000. This was after his photo driving a tricycle went viral. Eric said that at first, he tried not to accept the money but the showbiz personality texted him and told him to get the money from a remittance company.

Then, Eric gave P10,000 to his ex-wife to be spent for their children and he gave P5,000 to his mother. The actor used the other P5,000 to start a business that fortunately became a success. Now, through that money that was given to him to help his financial problem, Eric Fructuoso is the one helping now other people, especially his kids.

“Lahat ng pakikisama ko sa tao, lahat ng itinatanim ko sa tao na mabuti, ang gusto kong umani ‘yung mga anak ko. Di baleng wala na ako, sila na lang,” he said.
