Yassi Pressman Urges Others To Help Fire-Hit Philippine General Hospital (PGH)

YASSI PRESSMAN – Actress and tv host Yassi Pressman urged others to also help out the fire-hit Philippine General Hospital (PGH).

Filipino-British actress, model, and dancer Yassi Pressman played one of the most important characters in the top-rated series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.” She played the role of Alyana, the wife of Cardo Dalisay, the lead character portrayed by Coco Martin.

After several years of being in the hit program, the actress has to leave and was given a beautiful farewell. In a previous article, the actress shared the reason why she left the show.

Yassi Pressman is now set to host the Philippine version of the British game show, ‘Rolling In It.’ She was officially introduced by Viva Television, Cignal, and TV5.

The 30-year-old actress recently went to Philippine General Hospital (PGH) to visit the babies at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The state-run hospital was hit by a fire on May 16, 2021.

Yassi Pressman was accompanied by Ang Probinsyano Rep. Ronnie Ong. She and her team handed donations to PGH and encouraged others to do the same.

The actress said her visit to the fire-damaged hospital made her “deeply appreciate all the nurses, the volunteers, the staff and the mission of the hospital.”

She also pointed out that PGH takes care of eighty percent (80%) of its patients for free. The doctors also freely perform around 30K surgeries per year. However, surgical procedures are temporarily suspended due to the fire.

Yassi Pressman also expressed her gratitude to National Basketball Association (NBA) star Damian Lillard who donated a hefty amount to the hospital. She said the basketball player was able to help even if he is not in the Philippines.

“Also, huuuuge thanks to big brother @DamianLillard for sending over such a generous amount, kahit na wala siya sa Pilipinas, just to be able help,” she wrote.
