NBI Raids Spa with Extra Service in Quezon City Still Operating Despite Prohibition
The personnel of the National Bureau of Investigation(NBI) raided the spa in Quezon City that has extra service and still operating despite prohibition.
According to a Remate report, the NBI raided the Utopia Health Spa in Quezon City despite the existence of a modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila that restricts the services.

Apart from the quarantine restrictions being broken, it was also stated that prostitution or extra service was being conducted in the region. When NBI agents visited the spa, the drinkers were late in their acts, and there were more customers within the rooms, according to the report.
Furthermore, officials have been unable to contact the spa manager. Netizens are complaining about the establishment, according to the NBI, and the charge is P3,600 per woman.
“Napakadelikado po nito, considering may Delta variant. Ito’y isang paraan para mapabilis kumalat ang COVID,” said NBI special task force chief Bernard dela Cruz.
Meanwhile, Makati Police stormed a bar that was still open despite the MECQ’s restriction. When officers, including the SWAT team, arrived at the target bar, they discovered that it was open and that there were a large number of individuals inside.
Up to 52 people were jailed for violating restrictions related to physical distance and other health concerns. Dine-in is still banned in Metro Manila, where curfews and alcohol consumption restrictions still apply, therefore the bar is in breach.
