Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero and Kapuso star Heart Evangelista revealed something about their prenuptial agreement.

There had been several popular couples around the globe who had this kind of agreement before they would officially tie the knot. For some reasons, this served a good purpose for many couples.

In a recent interview, the couple mentioned that they signed a prenuptial agreement, based on the article in Bandera. “We have a prenup. What’s hers is hers, what’s mine is mine,” Chiz Escudero stressed.

This statement of the Sorsogon Governor came after the statement of his wife saying that she would lavishly spend his money. “When people say na he spends for me, no, not at all. But if there’s anything that I want them to know is, I mean I make my own,” the actress said who previously mentioned that aside from her showbiz projects, she also has her own investments.

Heart Evangelista also said that the reason for the prenup agreement is to have clarity when it comes to money matters. She added that it also serves the purpose to assure her husband that she is not using him.

Another reason that the Kapuso star pointed out was the children of Chiz Escudero. “Plus, he also has two kids. Gusto ko rin, in a way, na ma-appreciate ng kids niya na they will be protected. But in case, kung anuman ang mangyari, what is mine is theirs, too,” the actress said.

She has been guesting Chiz on her “Adulting” vlogs and among the lessons that the latter would always share is about spending money wisely. Heart admitted that she has learned a lot of things from her husband when it comes to handling her own finances.
