Netizens react to the “panunumbat” of Kuya Kim Atienza to Toto Mangudadatu regarding the franchise of ABS-CBN.
KUYA KIM ATIENZA – Kapamilya host and weather reporter, Kuya Kim Atienza, airs “panunumbat” to famous politician Toto Mangudadatu.
Maguindanao Second District Representative Esmael “Toto” Mangudadatu just recently married Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 Sharifa Akeel in a Muslim wedding. It was held at the Ar Nor Hotel and Convention Center in Cotabato City last August 25.

The beauty queen recently posted a tribute post for her new husband and told their story which has actually started six years ago. She turned down his marriage proposal but he worked hard to get her and her love. This year has brought them closer and she appreciated the things he does for her. She accepted him and his offer to get married and she realized that he was actually the piece she’s been missing in all of those years.
But just recently, the newly-married politician got called out by Kuya Kim Atienza, a Kapamilya weather reporter. The calling out was about him and his vote during the trial for the franchise of the ABS-CBN network. As per Kuya Kim, he let down the network by voting “Yes” to shut it down – the network that has been with him during his issues versus the Ampatuans.
Kuya Kim wrote, “When ABS was under attack in congress, This man sided with our enemies and voted AGAINST our franchise renewal. Now we are covering his wedding. Had to say that. Back to you guys.”
This comment has caught the attention of other people online. Mostly, the commenters are opposed to what Kuya Kim has said. One commenter said they shouldn’t be asking anything in return if they really did help the person sincerely. They just have to wait for the reward from the One above because He can see everything.
Meanwhile, another one expressed that it was their job to expose the details about that incident while Mangudadatu was just also doing his job in Congress. Another one replied, “…what you are pointing to is utang na loob.. But if the guy thinks that abs cbn done illegal things and doesn’t deserve a franchise.. That his prerogative as a lawmaker.. Dyas seying.”
