THE WEEKND – Global superstar The Weeknd splashes $70 million on a massive Bel Air mansion after he sold his home to singer Madonna.
Canadian singer-songwriter and record producer The Weeknd, known as Abel Makkonen Tesfaye offstage, began his career in 2009. After the release of his debut mixtapes: Echoes of Silence, Thursday, and House of Balloons, he quickly earned critical recognition from several mainstream publications.
The 31-year-old singer is now among the world’s best-selling musical artists. He is also on Spotify’s most-streamed artists.
The Weeknd has won many accolades including 5 American Music Awards, 3 Grammy Awards, 2 MTV Video Music Awards, and 19 Billboard Music Awards among others. Last year, the legendary Elton John listed him as one of the 100 Most Influential People.
The Starboy singer has a notable voice with an ascending falsetto and its singular tremolo. His music styles include R&B, hip hop, and pop.

Abel Tesfaye continues to stay in the spotlight for his music and was able to purchase whatever he wants. Recently, he dropped his $70 million on an extravagant Bel-Air mansion after he sold his home to American superstar Madonna.
His new lavish home is one of LA’s most coveted neighbors. According to the Wall Street Journal, Tesfaye’s house is one of the priciest California home sales of 2021. It measures 33,000 square feet.
It has a movie theater, sauna, tennis court, gym, music studio, hammam, and an indoor pool. The exterior of the house also has a dramatic split staircase.
