According to Eleazar, they will examine such gatherings if minimal public health safety rules and quarantine regulations have been exceeded, making the incidence a super spreader event, as directed by DILG Secretary Eduardo Año. Local police in the region are currently gathering evidence and communicating with the local government unit (LGU) about the occurrence.

The department received information about the gathering on July 10 from an anonymous complainant, according to the report. The attendees appear to be ignoring the basic public health safety norms and quarantine regulations, according to the uploaded footage of the beach party.

Eleazar warned the public that the pandemic is still ongoing and that minimal health standards must be adhered to. He went on to say that mass gatherings and other potential situations for super spreader incidents should be avoided.

Meanwhile, the PNP chief asked the public to only report violations of minimal public health safety requirements and quarantine protocols to the authorities. He asks the public to report any procedure violations or offenders without hesitation.
