KZ Tandingan Reveals Why She & Husband TJ Moneterde Doesn’t Want To Have a Baby Yet
KZ TANDINGAN – Kapamilya singer KZ Tandingan revealed she and her husband TJ Monterde have no plans of having a baby soon.
Filipino singers KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde got married last August 28 at the Farm in San Benito. Their intimate wedding ceremony was attended by their family and closest friends.
TJ and KZ’s wedding is quite unique because KZ chose to wear a white suit instead of the usual gown. She accentuated it with an oversized pearl necklace.
In a previous article, TJ Monterde opened up about KZ Tandingan’s white suit. He said doesn’t really care what people say, what’s important for him is the two of them in that special event.
“Hindi siya nahirapan. Sobrang saya lang. I’d choose her smile in that day over a beautiful gown,” TJ said.

Although it has been a year since she married TJ Monterde, KZ Tandingan recently admitted that she doesn’t want to have a baby yet. In a digital conference for their playlist “Simula,” she said she has been enjoying discovering more about her husband.
The couple also disclosed some of their plans before starting their own family. TJ said, “Mag-a-anniversary kami this month pero hindi pa namin totally na-experience ‘yung pagta-travel na kaming dalawa lang. Kasi ikinasal kami sa (panahon) ng pandemic. Sa ngayon ang priority namin ay kami muna. Kung maari makapag-travel muna kami right after the (pandemic) kung puwede na.”
“Sa seven years namin na together dalawang beses pa lang kami nakaalis ng Manila na kaming dalawa lang, Tagaytay pa at Batangas. Both happened nitong taon lang na ito. Ang dami pa naming gustong gawin,” KZ added.
If it weren’t for the COVID-19 pandemic, KZ Tandingan said that she and her husband would already have been traveling to Japan.
“Favorite talaga namin yun but never pa kami nakapunta na kaming dalawa lang. It’s always us and a group palagi. Like sampu kami, ganyan ganyan. Siyempre kasi isa din sa reasons why ayaw muna namin mag-baby is because kumbaga pag baby na kasi it changes everything…”
“Kumbaga pag may baby na automatically yung baby becomes the top priority over anything. So gusto muna namin ma-enjoy yung time na kaming dalawa lang muna. Kasi pag may baby ka na you have to really plan kung ano yung mas makakabuti, kung ano yung child-friendly, malapit ba ito sa ospital just in case something happens,” KZ explained.
