There is a reason behind this gym photo of Alden Richards
Kapuso actor Alden Richards explains the story behind his recent viral gym photo that he posted on his Instagram account.
Alden is indeed one of the popular male celebrities in the Philippines nowadays. Aside from his handsome face, his fans are also swooned by his talent in acting, hosting, and even singing.
Just recently, he set the Instagram community on fire when he posted his gym photo. Prior to this, he also showcased his well-trimmed abs. Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Alden Richards is doing extra effort to stay fit.
It is for his role in the TV series titled The World Between Us with Jasmine Curtis-Smith. “Base kasi sa umeere ngayon, mas advance ‘yung mga nakukunan naming eksena. So this is a preparation for another transition, another transformation ng character ni Louie,” the actor revealed.
Alden said that he is happy with the result of his hard work in getting fitter. He said that it did not happen overnight. The actor had to go through intense workout as well as being conscious when it comes to his food intake.
He said that it is conscious effort and he is happy that his hard work paid off. On the other hand, he admitted that was not that easy.
Alden Richards also shared that the transition of his character in the series is also hard. However, he is enjoying the process as he has not done this before and this makes him excited. “In my 10 years in GMA, this is my first soap na ang daming transitions and there’s a change in personality, sa trait ng character, sa itsura ng character,” he shared.
Meanwhile, after shooting for this series, Alden is set to start filming his movie with new Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo.
