Fisherman Drowned to Dead after Lapu-Lapu Fish He Shot Dragged Him Down
Local residents discovered a fisherman lifeless after he was dragged under the water and drowned by a lapu-lapu fish he shot in Negros Oriental.
The victim identified Jovy Narciso, who goes spearfishing from the ocean in Barangay Bolisong in Manjuyod town, never come back to his family, based on the police investigation. The victim is accused of shooting a five-kilogram “pugapo” also known as a lapu-lapu.

Based on the report, even if anything was correct, the lapu-lapu was claimed to be able to drag and squeeze through underwater rocks. Unfortunately, the bow’s rope caught around Narciso’s leg and pulled him beneath, preventing him from rising.
He was discovered deceased by coworkers on Tuesday morning. According to the article, authorities did not suspect any foul play in the death of the drowned fisherman.
Meanwhile, in President Roxas, Cotabato, a family was taken aback when they discovered a massive eel in the river. The slippery Japanese eel, which is feet long and weighs 12 kg, was said to have required the assistance of three individuals.
