The Huawei P40 Lite 5G was announced on May 15, 2020 and released on May 28, 2020. The midrange smartphone supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
Huawei P40 Lite 5G runs on the Android 10 + EMUI 10.1 operating system. However, the smartphone doesn’t come with the Play Store or other Google apps like Calendar, Maps or Gmail.
The 5G-ready device is integrated with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 256GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Huawei P40 Lite 5G measures 162.3 x 75 x 8.6 mm and weighs 189 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.5 inches LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio.
The rear camera consists of a 64-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) while on the front, there is a single 16-megapixel (wide) camera.
It is powered by a 4000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 40W + reverse charging 5W. It is available in three colors: Space Silver, Crush Green, and Midnight Black.
Connectivity options on the phone include USB Type-C 2.0, USB OTG, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, and Bluetooth 5.1. The device’s sensors include a compass, proximity, accelerometer, gyro, and fingerprint (side-mounted).
