Isaw Boy Now Earns P200k Per Week After Starting Ihawan Business in New York
Robin John Calalo alias Isaw Boy has started his ‘ihawan’ business in New York City and now earns over P200, 000 per week.
Calalo started his barbeque business in 2019 with just $50 and offered isaw, Betamax, Adidas, tenga ng baboy and other street foods. His first customers were his family and friends who were craving for Filipino foods.
The Pinoy entrepreneur sells each piece for $3.50 and he did not expect his business to boom. He also attracts non-Filipino customers because of his delicious Pinoy style barbeques.

The Filipinos in New York could taste the traditional Pinoy street foods on Fridays. Filipino restaurants in the city are also offering skewered goods. Aside from barbeques, he is also offering ready-to-grill isaw, betamax, adidas, and tenga ng baboy.
Customers can do their own grilling at home with those ready-to-grill products. Robin John is now earning $4,000 or P200, 000 a week, which is quite huge for a small barbeque business.
