Wille Lu Tan alias Chen Bien, 42; Antong Wong alias Wang Zhong Chun/Wang Min, 28, and Chen Zhin, 79, are all Chinese nationals, according to PDEA Director General Wilkins Villanueva. The Chinese were apprehended in Novaliches’ Magsaysay St., Barangay San Bartolome.

A vacuum sealed plastic tea container containing 127 kilos of shabu and branded Chinese characters worth P863 million was uncovered. The accused were all members of a big multinational syndicate involved in the distribution of drugs in the country, according to Director Adrian Alvarino, chief of the PDEA Intelligence and Investigation Service (IIS).

Police Brig. General Remus Medina, director of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group, said that they are continuing to monitor and undertake operations against high-value targets of illegal narcotics in the country. Villanueva congratulated his team and the PNP on a successful mission.

The PDEA chief emphasized that this is only to demonstrate that the two organizations have a common goal of ending the country’s illegal drug problem. The Chinese suspects will be charged with drug possession and sale.
