Actress Bela Padilla talked about the friendship that she was able to maintain with her ex-boyfriend film producer-businessman Neil Arce and his fiancée actress Angel Locsin.
Neil and Angel became a couple after being friends for several years. Based on the article in PUSH, the couple officially announced that they are together in November 2018. Last January 2019, they got engaged.
Neil’s relationship with Bela ended in January 2017. Although they parted ways, the friendship between them remained.
Bela Padilla said that she has no ill feelings towards her ex-boyfriend. She is also still friends with Angel. “Neil is very mature, I’m also very mature. Angel… I still consider a friend. Like I feel like if she needs anything from me or I need anything from her, we can still go to each other. Like there’s no animosity at all,” the Meet Me In St. Gallen actress said.
She added that there is no need for her to cut ties as the Philippine entertainment industry is just a small world. “I don’t want to avoid going to a certain building because I might run into someone. I hate that feeling. Why would I stress myself like that?” the actress said.
Bela Padilla also stressed that achieving this scenario between exes requires a certain level of maturity. “We’re also at an age where we don’t need to fight or bicker anymore, and there’s really nothing to fight about. Because the reason why we broke up is because we didn’t like each other that way anymore,” the actress explained.
