Man Goes Blind After Accidentally Shot His Left Eye When he Hammered His Gun

An unfortunate man went blind after he accidentally shot his left eye when he allegedly hammered his new gun and got jailed by police.

According to the story, a man in Badian, Cebu, pounded his gun because it refused to shoot. However, he lost his left eye in an unlucky incident when the gun unexpectedly shot right at him.

Corlin Purisima, a 28-year-old inhabitant of Barangay Dagatan in Badian City, Cebu, was arrested. According to the Badian Police Station report, the incident occurred in the vicinity about 2:00 p.m.

According to the police inquiry, the guy may have just purchased his.38 caliber and attempted to discharge it but failed. The suspect emerged from the house wielding a hammer and repeatedly struck the pistol, causing him to be shot in the left eye.

Following the gunfire, residents in the area called the police to report the event. When local authorities arrived, they discovered the culprit drenched in his own blood. A pistol with six bullets was also discovered in the suspect’s possession.

Purisima was transported to the hospital right away for treatment of the wound in his left eye. The suspect who is hurt by self-injury will face charges of illegal guns possession.
