Famous actress Angel Locsin opens up about being a mother.
ANGEL LOCSIN – Celebrity and philanthropist Angel Locsin shares what she is going to be like when she becomes a mother one day.
After several postponements, actress Angel Locsin will be finally tying the knot with businessman Neil Arce. In fact, they are actually supposed to get married on November 8, 2020, but the pandemic happened and there were rules they have to consider before holding a big celebration for their union.
And now, excited about what’s ahead of them after marrying, she spoke about being a mother and what she would be like if she becomes one. She’s already looking forward to building their own family and speaking about motherhood with Matteo Guicelli in his “MattRuns” podcast, she admitted that she really wanted to become a mother and raise her own children one day.
She wanted twins before but seeing how her friends struggled in raising a child, what she wanted now is to have one or two and she’ll be fine. She feels like she really needs to focus on it and also, she’s feeling now that in the future, she will be a stage mother. She expressed, “Kailangan nakatutok ka talaga. Kung mabigyan ako ng blessing ni Lord, go. Feeling ko stage mother ako.”
Now, expecting to have kids soon, will she allow them to follow her footsteps and join show business? In her personal opinion, she’d rather have her kids appear in commercials first. She wants them to focus on their studies and finish school because it’s something that she has never done.
She added, “Kasi hindi ako graduate eh. Alam ko kung gaano kaimportante [‘yung pag-aaral]. Alam kong may mga achievements ako pero iba pa rin talaga ‘yung may diploma ka. Pwede mo iyon dalahin kahit nasaan ka. Hindi ‘yun mananakaw sa iyo.”
For now, she’s focused on her wedding and excited about what’s ahead of them but in terms of her career, she’s not yet sure of what’s gonna happen. However, she is sure that she will return and just lie low for now.
