Police Raid a Drug Den in Davao del Norte Resulted in the Arrest of 6 Drug Suspects
Police authorities conduct a raid against an alleged drug den in Davao del Norte and arrested six (6) drug suspects caught in the act.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) officers raided a drug den in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, where they discovered six drug suspects having a pot session. Ace Robert Chio and Corazon Samillano, who reportedly runs a drug den in Brgy. Madaum, were targeted by the PDEA in a buy-bust operation, according to the agency.

Chio allegedly heard a noise when he arrived at the location and ran, but Samillano and five others were apprehended inside. Michael Albastro, Vincent Albastro, Angelito Alcaide, Angelo Alcaide, and Reynante Mejares were among those who visited the drug den, according to the PDEA.
Two packages of suspected shabu costing P8,000 and six huge packages of shabu totaling P300,000 were seized by authorities. The arrestees are accused of breaking the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, in Barangay Cubacub, Mandaue City, a female real estate agent was arrested in a buy-bust operation headed by PDEA operatives in Cebu Province, together with police officers from the Cebu Police Provincial Office and Mandaue City Police Office.
Melissa Solitario, a female suspect, was apprehended when she was caught with 50 grams of suspected “shabu” worth P340,000. The arrest came just hours after detectives busted a narcotics house. Solitario was said to be the drug dealer at the said drug den, according to the agents.
