Family Home Left With Gaping Hole After Cocaine Randomly Smashes Through Roof
FAILED DRUG SMUGGLING – Homeowners were left in shock and awe after a bag of pure cocaine randomly smashes through their roof.
Usually, you’d start off the day doing your daily chores, a little bit of exercise, or just chilling in your home. But instead, a homeowner from a village in Baratici San Pietro, Italy, needed to immediately call the police.
According to local reports, the homeowner reported that a plane passed by their home when a sudden large thud was felt. Rushing to see what had happened, the homeowner saw a gaping hole through the roof and a bag of pure cocaine underneath it.
Police reports said the bag contained 8.5kg of pure cocaine valued at around ($4.91 million) when sold in the streets. But, as it turns out, the person responsible for this was already in the police’s watchlist.
By cross-referencing GPS data with CCTV footage near the home, police confirmed that the aircraft had flown over Oristano. Moreover, after taking a good look at the plane and refencing departure times of the aircraft, investigators suspected Francesco Rizzo as the culprit.
Reports said Rizzo was a flight instructor who was previously linked to drug trafficking. For months, police have tried to pin down Rizzo. Finally, due to the incident that occurred, they finally arrested him during a stopover at Cagliari-Elmas airport in Sardinia on a flight from Germany.
