Wowowin host Willie Revillame appeared to have hinted at the major decision he is going to do with his life and his career.
Previously, on his game show, the veteran host shared that he is set to do a decision that would affect his future. At that time, he did not elaborate on the details but he promised that his fans and supporters will be the first to know because he will have his big announcement on his show.
With this, speculations surfaced that it is about the 2022 elections. To recall, it has been reported that President Rodrigo Duterte is urging Willie Revillame to run for Senator next year. Based on the article in Pang-Masa, the veteran host said that he will have his big announcement next month.
“Mga first week ng August, mayroon akong malaking announcement sa inyong lahat. So, abangan n’yo po ‘yan at para malaman natin kung ano’ng mangyayari sa atin. Abangan n’yo po ‘yan. Ito po’y desisyon sa buhay, para po sa akin ‘to at para po sa ating lahat. Sana po’y maintindihan n’yo,” Kuya Wil said.
Although he did not say anything, the following statement of the Wowowin host appeared to be a hint. “Huwag kayong mag-alala hindi ako kenkoy sa Senado. Hindi kami magkekenkoyan. Tutulong, gagawa ng paraan, gagawa ng batas sa mga taong nagugutom. Hindi po magpapatawa do’n,” he said.
Willie Revillame also stresses that people should not undermine showbiz personalities because they are also thinking about the welfare of the public and how to help other people. He also said that whatever path he will take, he will not be someone who will bring shame.
