Owner Trying To Save Cat Fined $100 At Checkpoint As Pet Dies In Her Arms
OWNER TRYING TO SAVE CAT – An owner who was trying to save her beloved pet cat was left crying in a checkpoint after authorities fined her $100.
Not only that, the delays with the paperwork and authorities holding them at checkpoint eventually led to the death of her pet. In the video, you could hear authorities and the owners of the pet having a conversation.
Based on a rough translation from a netizen on Reddit, the officers asked the owners for paperwork for traveling. But, because of the urgency of the situation, it seemed like they forgot it.
However, the owners explained that they were trying to take their cat, who was clearly ill, to a vet in order for doctors to cure it. The man in the video said their cat was lethargic.
As such, the officer asked them if the cat had any illnesses right now to which they said yes. But, the officer said that the government imposed a strict lockdown where they had to have an exceptional or special request form.
“Now we have two people on the streets driving a cat to where? We have to take administrative action today the 13th day of the seventh month 2021”, said the officers. The owners tried to explain that the cat’s situation was urgent. Still, the officer scoffed at them.
“You two go do your business, but you’ll definitely be penalized. Out on the road with no legitimate reason“, the officer added.
So, instead of letting them go, the officers took a chair and asked the owners to sit down as they processed their penalty fees which amounted to $100. Sadly, because of the delays, their cat finally died.
