CCTV footage shows many attack events committed by the riding in tandem holduppers according to GMA News. This includes robberies in Lipa City, Sto Tomas, and even Malvar, where the suspects assaulted their victims with a gun to the head.

According to Lipa City Police Chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Lory Tarrazona, the suspects assaulted at different times while riding around on a motorcycle hunting for victims. The modus of the two is to scare their victims first and when the victim is terrified they promptly seize the victim’s possessions and flee.

Based on the report, a victim was stabbed in the hand after purportedly breaking away from the two. The two, identified as John Leandro Buena, 22, and Raffy Esparza, 20, were detained after their next victim made a short call for assistance.

The robbery suspects’ motorcycle and a pellet gun used in their illegal operation were recovered by the authorities. Tarrazona urged the other victims of the two to register a complaint at their headquarters. The suspects that were apprehended refused to make a statement.
