PNP Unsure Where Peter Lim Is, Chief Cites “No Clear Information”

PNP Chief Says Police Unsure Where To Locate Peter Lim

PETER LIM – One of the most controversial drug suspects in the Philippines’ Peter Lim, still remains an enigma as the PNP was left unsure of his whereabouts.

According to the Philippine National Police, finding him was difficult due to a lack of “clean information”. Furthermore, they have no means of confirming if the suspect had already fled the country.

During an interview with PTV, PNP Chief Police Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said:

However, Eleazar previously stated that the police have coordinated with its Intellegence, Drug Enforcement Group, and the CIDG to verify if Lim was out of the Philippines.

Earlier, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año stated that Lim, who was indicted of his charges for illegal drugs, may had left the country. But, the Department of Justice emphasized that there were no records of him leaving.

Lim was famously arrested for conspiracy to commit illegal drug trading. Among the people linked to him was self-confessed “shabu” distributor Kerwin Espinosa, Marcelo Adorco, and Ruel Malindangan.
