Mark Anthony Fernandez said this about Claudine Barretto
Actor Mark Anthony Fernandez shared that he noticed that his ex-girlfriend Optimum Star Claudine Barretto has changed when it comes to her attitude.
Mark and Claudine were able to have a chance to work together again after more than a decade. The last project that they did before their upcoming Deception movie was an episode in Claudine’s drama anthology with the same title in the Kapuso network back in 2010.
The actor admitted, based on the article in PEP, that he had separation anxiety when their lock-in taping for the suspense-thriller movie was finished. This is directed by award-wining director Joel Lamanagan. Mark Anthony Fernandez said that he is thankful to the prominent filmmaker for guiding him on the set.
“Yung role ko, maraming emosyon, maraming karakter na ipinapakita. Ito ang most challenging role ko for 2021. Mahirap na masaya ang role. Parang yung nagpapamasahe ka, masakit pero masarap. Parang kapag may tiyaga, may nilaga,” the actor said. He also commended Direk Joel for a well-written script despite the pressure that he felt for working with the popular director.
Although the statement of Mark that “love is lovelier the second time around” regarding the possibility of rekindling the connection between him and his ex-girlfriend, did not happen, he shared that he noticed a remarkable change in Claudine.
“Ang gustung-gusto ko kay Claudine, naging independent woman siya, yun ang napansin ko. Parang mas lumawak yung pag-iisip niya. Wala kaming masyadong free time during the shooting pero nagkukuwentuhan kami,” Mark Anthony Fernandez said. This project is memorable for him because he and Claudine did beautiful scenes together.
