When the suspect heard the two security guards approaching, he ran and threw his bag at them before fleeing. The suspect’s backpack had some legal identification. Rizza Escobido, the school’s principal, was informed about the occurrence by the guards.

The school had previously lost two 43-inch televisions, which had been reported to the Karuhatan barangay office on June 14 and 18. It was also determined that the similar occurrence occurred on May 2 at Marulas Central School, with Longa as a suspect.

During the investigation, the suspect was apprehended with a sharp instrument lodged in his waist in Sitio Cabatuhan, Barangay Gen. T. De Leon. Individuals who returned the stolen TVs agreed to be witnesses for the arrest of the suspect.

Marulas Central School has two televisions worth P29,849 each, and Karuhatan West Elementary School has one television worth the same amount. Three more TVs, of the same type and quantity as those found, are missing from the two schools listed. The Valenzuela municipal government has donated these televisions to the city’s public schools.
