Alden Richards talked about his onscreen partnership with Jasmine Curtis
Kapuso Pambansang Bae Alden Richards reacted to negative comments on his loveteam with actress indie film queen Jasmine Curtis.
Alden and Jasmine are the lead stars of the new Kapuso series The World Between Us. It is not the first time that they have the chance to work with each other.
Although there is an obvious “kilig” in their love team that many viewers really like, it is also a known fact that there were fans who are expressing negative comments on their tandem onscreen.
In line with this issue, Alden Richards gave his reaction, based on the article in Bandera. He said that if they will just always listen to people, they will not grow as artists.
“If we always listen to people who bring us down and not support our endeavors and iyong mga ginagawa namin, hindi po kami maggu-grow. Mai-stuck lang po kami sa mentality na laging ‘ayaw ng ganito, ayaw nila ng ganito’ sa social media. We don’t function like that,” the actor said.
He added that they are not robots but instead they are “learning machines”. They also want to learn and experience things. By exploring different stuff, they can grow, he stressed. Alden Richards also said that the “kilig” that he and Jasmine Curtis can give to their audience comes out naturally.
“Sa kilig naman, kami ni Jas, we don’t really prepare for it. Pero for some reason, take one siya, e. May ganoon, and all the more na hindi pinagpaplanuhan ang isang bagay, all the more na nagkakaroon ng bunga,” he shared.
