The ex-talent manager of Jasmine Curtis-Smith has spoken
For 10 years, Jasmine’s showbiz career was being handled by Betchay. However, CAM recently revealed that the younger sister of Anne Curtis is its newest artist.
Based on the article in PEP, Betchay said that she and Jasmine have officially parted way effective June 14, 2021. She stressed that there was no issue surrounding this decision.
“This was a very very peaceful and mutual separation. It was simply just the end of an era for both of us. Thank you,” the talent manager said. Betchay also stressed that their separation was “maayos” and for her, it was just an end of an era.
“Mutual decision ang nangyari. Nag-usap kami tapos tinanong niya ako tungkol sa kanyang napupusuan na lipatan. Sabi ko, ‘Okey ‘yan. Very good.’ April 2021 kami nag-usap, then June, nakahanap na siya ng lilipatan na talent management agency,” Jasmine Curtis-Smith’s former manager said.
Betchay even said that she liked and reposted the announcement about the transfer of Jasmine to CAM. Then, she elaborated that she and the actress talked about the decision over lunch.
They both assessed the situation and Jasmine said that she thinks it was time for them to part ways. “Sabi naman niya, ‘But as Mama B, I’m still your daughter.’ ‘Oo naman, hindi na ‘yon mawawala,’” Betchay added.
She also said that she felt at ease knowing that Jasmine Curtis-Smith is now working with Rambo Nunez in CAM. It is because Betchay knows Maja’s boyfriend and she was able to work with him in the past.
