Megastar Sharon Cuneta was called “plastic” by a netizen who criticized her post about the passing away of former President Noynoy Aquino.

The world of entertainment in the Philippines is also mourning over the death of PNoy, not just the world of politics. Several celebrities have expressed their deepest condolences to the Aquino family. Many popular personalities shared also their fondest memories with the former Chief Executive.

One of the celebrities who posted about this sad news was Sharon Cuneta. However, a netizen criticized her for doing this. It is known to many that even though Sharon’s husband Senator Kiko Pangilinan is in the same political party with PNoy, she has been vocal about her support for the Duterte administration.

A netizen called the Megastar “plastic” because of this, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal. “Isa ka pa …nag post ka ng pakikiramay kanina then nag POST ka ng iba (sorry, ciempre love for dogs are never easy) i TRUSTED YOU!!!” the netizen commented.

Sharon shared a post about dog rescue in between two posts about PNoy. Apparently, this did not sit well with the said netizen. The actress-singer fired back at this.

“HINDI KO PA ALAM NA NAMATAY SI PNOY. NUNG NAGPOST AKO ABOUT THE DOG RESCUE, OKAY? Nasa Amerika ako mag-isip ka muna di judgmental agad. Daming masama talaga ugali sa Pilipinas kaya hirap umusad eh,” the Megastar stressed.

In another comment, the netizen apologized to Sharon Cuneta for calling her “plastic” but still continued to attack the post of the Megastar with the accusation that she is just playing safe.

Sharon reasoned out that since she is currently in the States, the news came to her late. “Bakit negative agad reaction nyo! Ang pakikiramay kailangan nobela? Eh buong puso at kaliluwa na serbisyo ng asawa ko at supprta ko at pamilya namin sa kanya ano naman alam mo? Relax lang,” she added.
