Here’s what friends of Scottie Thompson and Pau Fajardo said after the wedding went viral online.
SCOTTIE THOMPSON – Kayesha Chua has this post following the wedding issue of their close friend Scottie Thompson with someone who is not Pau Fajardo.
Professional basketball players Scottie Thompson, Aljon Mariano, and Kevin Ferrer are close to each other in real life along with their partners. Thompson was picked fifth overall for the 2015 PBA Rookie Draft by the never-say-die franchise. He plays for Barangay Ginebra and has contributed much to make Gin Kings get the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup title just last December.

Under Thompson’s belt are five championships and beside him through all these years is his long-time partner Pau Fajardo. She’s been with him throughout his career in basketball and on New Year’s eve they actually got engaged. However, Thompson revealed that two months ago, they called it quits and he himself took all the blame why it has ended.
He is now married to a flight stewardess from Pampanga named Jinky Serrano. They tied the knot just this June and people, especially those who are their avid supporters, got shocked over such revelations circulating online. With all of these making rounds online, the former couple’s immediate friends broke their silence.
In an Instagram post, Kayesha Chua, fiance of Mariano, expressed their sentiments. Accordingly, Pau reached out to them but he never did. They were the ones who actually would talk to him upon knowing the situation but he tends to intentionally shut down their attempts all the time.
Chua added that they have never judged him but they were disappointed because he never told them his side when they were just there waiting for him to open up.
“We’ve been quiet since day 1 because it was their request to keep things private. Same reason why everyone knew about it just now. Do not equate our silence to our ‘lack of support’ for our friends because you know nothing about the things we did for them. NOTHING,” the statement wrote.
He accordingly chose the other way around and he chose “her”. An intriguing line was also written, “We give him our best wishes and leave him to it. I wish you strength because you’ll need it. I hope she’s worth it.”
What’s accordingly needed right now to give Pau is privacy. Currently, Pau’s social media page is deactivated while the photos of them together on Thompson’s page got all taken down. Chua said, “What she needs now the most is privacy and prayers, please no more mentioning this specific issue to her because it’s over. She deserves to move on. Let her.”
