The Honor 50 Pro 5G was officially announced on June 16, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G (6 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit is Adreno 642L.
Honor 50 Pro 5G runs on the Android 11 + Magic UI 4.2 operating system. It is the first device of the company with Google apps and services after splitting from Huawei.
The smartphone comes in a 6.72 inches screen size and the display is OLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1236 x 2676 pixels resolution. It measures 163.5 x 74.7 x 8 mm and weighs 187 grams.
Honor 50 Pro 5G is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 108-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) and 2-megapixel (depth). For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a dual-camera on the front that features a 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 32-megapixel (wide) camera.
The smartphone is kept on by a 4000 mAh built-in battery + fast charging 100W. It is available in various colors like Frost Crystal, Amber Red, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black.
Connectivity options on the device include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C 2.0, USB OTG, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, and GLONASS. The phone’s sensors include fingerprint (under display, optical), compass, accelerometer, compass, gyro, and proximity.
