Here’s what Boy Abunda said to peddlers of fake news
King of Talk Boy Abunda is the recent victim of a death hoax and here is his reaction to fake news stating that he already passed away.
Showbiz personalities are constantly used by social media pages for views. Several instances have happened that one celebrity is being assumed to be dead already whether it is intentional or not.
Just recently, based on the entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula’s writeup in PEP, rumors surfaced that the veteran host has passed away. According to Rula, there was a Facebook account that published the fake news, and allegedly Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas and Megastar Sharon Cuneta are already grieving.
When Rula called Tito Boy on June 18, the latter said, “Buhay na buhay ako!” The columnist said that he was quite shocked as two tabloid editors called him to confirm this rumor about the TV host.
Rula added that Tito Boy just laughed at this matter. However, the veteran host had “nakakawindang” reaction when his partner Bong Quintana called him early in the morning.
Boy Abunda shared that his partner knows that he is still sleeping at that time but the latter still called anyway just to ease his worries. It is because there were several people who called Bong also regarding the death hoax.
With this, Tito Boy said that he is just thinking that he will even have a longer life. On the other hand, the King of Talk has this message to the peddler of fake news.
“Hindi ako nagmamadali. Pwede na siyang mauna kung gusto na niya. Okay lang ako. Hindi ako nagmamadali!” Boy Abunda said.
