GMA Executive meets John Lloyd Cruz and expressed “exciting times ahead” with him.
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz finally meets GMA Executive Annette Gozon-Valdes. Will he officially be a Kapuso now?
It was just temporary says John Lloyd Cruz to Kapuso host Willie Revillame as he returned through GMA. He is speaking about that phase when he left the limelight so suddenly because work has seemingly eaten a big portion of his life while he still wanted to do so much apart from being in the show business industry.
He was one of the most in-demand actors and leading then when he left.
He just resolved his what-ifs and filled his curiosity about what could happen if he finally does the things that he wants. He’s now under Maja Salvador’s management company – the Crown Artist Management and he is accordingly set to do a sitcom with Kapuso actress Andrea Torres.
The actress, in a previous article, admitted feeling honored and grateful to the possibility of working with him but also confessed that she wasn’t told about it yet officially. GMA Network board director, programming consultant to the chair/CEO of GMA Network, and GMA Films president Annette Gozon-Valdes expressed that the actor is welcome to their network.
She added that they are just actually waiting for the pitch about the said sitcom. They are willing to accept him just as long as there will be no legal boundaries. And just recently, meeting the actor personally, the GMA executive expressed that there are “exciting times ahead”.
What does this mean? Is he going to officially be a Kapuso? In a report from PEP, she did not answer yet if they are giving him an exclusive contract. She said, “I think he’s also taking things slow,” because he’s been accordingly a Kapamilya for many years. But they are certainly welcoming him in GMA.
