Call Center Agent in Cabanatuan City Arrested During Illegal Drugs Buy-Bust
Police arrested a call center agent after caught possessing illegal drugs during the buy-bust operation in Cabanatuan City.
An employee of a contact center was arrested with P2.3 million in suspected illegal substances. Sheryl Santos, 43, of Barangay Hulo, Sto. Sunday, was identified as one of the arrested suspects.
The suspect was apprehended by the combined forces of the Cabanatuan City Police Station and the Sto. Domingo Municipal Police Station during the first anti-illegal drugs operation in Barangay Aduas Norte, according to Col. Jaime Santos, provincial director of the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO).

Authorities recovered a plastic bag purportedly carrying shabu, as well as 11 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets holding 345 grams of illegal substances. They also seized two marked bills and two weights from the suspect.
The estimated street value of the seized drugs is P2.346 million, according to the authorities. The case against the suspect is now being built. The suspects will very certainly face accusations of breaking the anti-illegal drugs statute.
Meanwhile, authorities confiscated over 155 kilograms of suspected shabu worth an estimated P1.053 billion in two separate narcotics busts. During anti-narcotics operations, members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) apprehended two purported Chinese nationals.
