DILG Clarified that Muhlach Family Has No Violation in Their Vaccination
The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) clarified that the family of Aga Muhlach has no violation committed during the vaccination.
The DILG reaffirmed on Friday that Aga Muhlach’s family’s simultaneous immunization was not illegal. The actor, his wife, Charlene Gonzales-Muchlach, and their two children, Atasha and Andres, were all vaccinated against COVID-19 at the same time in Muntinlupa on June 1, drawing criticism.

The four are qualified for vaccination, according to the DILG, because they registered on the city portal under the A3 category, which includes people with comorbidities. “They are bona-fide residents of Muntinlupa City. They enrolled at the MUNCOVAC registration portal under A3 category,” Malaya said.
The family provided medical certifications from Asian Hospital and Medical Center validating their comorbidities, according to Interior Undersecretary and Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya.
“Most importantly, they submitted medical certificates/clearance from their attending physician at Asian Hospital and Medical Center to prove that they have comorbidities. The medical certificate was verified by the Muntinlupa City Health Office with the said hospital,” he said.
“Therefore, the Department sees no violation of DOH or IATF’s regulations in the aforementioned vaccination,” Malaya added.
Aga and his family were chastised on social media, prompting the statement. This is in response to reports that they were allegedly cutting the line to get immunized.
