Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez shared an encounter with a waiter who wanted to slap her because of this amusing reason.
It is inevitable for people in the entertainment industry to get bashed, receive hate comments, and garner criticism, just as fans would also show love, support, and appreciation for the things they do in front of the camera and even off-cam.
In Winwyn’s experience, there was a person who apparently hated her to the extend of slapping her, based on the article in gmanetwork.com. It is because of her character Trixie in the series Owe My Love with Lovi Poe, Benjamin Alves, and Rocco Nacino.
In the said teleserye that is set to have its finale this week, Winwyn Marquez is the “kontrabida”. During a recent interview on 24 Oras, she revealed that there was an avid viewer of the TV series who wanted to get even at her for the things her character done to the “bida”.
“Biglang lumapit, nagpapa-picture ‘yung mga staff. Sabi nung isang waitress, ‘Pasampal naman po. Okey lang? Isa lang.’ Sabing ganun! Oh my gosh, hindi ko alam kung ano ang gagawin ko,” the Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 shared.
Apparently, there are avid viewers who got carried away by their emotions when they watch it. Lovi also shared during the same interview that there are fans who tag them on Instagram about their series.
She shared one particular story of an avid viewer. “May nagta-tag sa amin kasi sa Instagram. Tawang-tawa ako doon sa part na pinatay niya ‘yung TV dahil iba na ‘yung kasama ko doon, hindi na si Doc Migs. Si Rocco na ‘yung kasama ko, si Doc Kenneth,” she shared.
