Operatives Arrested an Alleged Fixer in BIR-Lipa City During Entrapment
Video footage of authorities shows the alleged fixer of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR-Lipa City) being arrested during the entrapment operation.
The Anti-Red Tape Authority and the Philippine National Police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group apprehend a fixer in BIR-Lipa City. The arrested fixer, according to the article, provides quick processing of company permits.

An entrapment operation was carried out against the suspect by the joint force of ARTA and PNP-CIDG. One of the operatives poses as a consumer and approaches the fixer for his assistance.
The agents swiftly detained the suspect when the subject got the money from the disguised customer, according to the footage posted by the Philippine News Agency. The fixer was apprehended with bribe money, ostensibly in order to expedite the processing of a business permit.
According to ARTA Sec. Jeremiah Belgica, the suspect is a 26-year-old janitor from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in Lipa City. A show cause order was also issued to the head BIR Lipa.
