Hard labor at a young age is the core thought of the previous Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho episode that featured Reymark Mariano’s story. It was heart-breaking and two weeks after it aired, it remained on the top trending list. After his story has made it to KMJS, help from other private individuals and organizations flooded him. His story showed the never-ending and vicious cycle of poverty in the country due to child labor.
The different types of help have put a smile on 10-year-old Reymark’s face and blessings for him poured continuously. The hard work he’s been through at a young age has matured not only his body but also his thought and views about life. His confessions, realizations, and wishes as a child show how tough his situation is.
However, despite the silver lining in Reymark’s situation, an accusation against the Kapuso show has surfaced after some netizens have made some comments. As per one commenter, the mother of Reymark has not totally abandoned him and actually worked away to provide for them.

The Kapuso show has responded to this and refuted the accusation. Their story was aired out of research and personally witnessing how poor their life is. Also, it was Reymark’s request not to detail the conflict between the elderlies as he does not want his mother to be criticized online according to the show’s released statement.
