Drug Suspect Arrested After Caught Violating Curfew in Malabon City
Authorities arrested a drug suspect after he was accosted for violating the curfew hours in Malabon City and discovered possessing illegal drugs.
When a young man was apprehended in Malabon City during a curfew, he was caught with illegal substances known as “shabu.” Jomarie Ignacio, 27, a fisherman from 286 M Sioson St., Peoples Brgy. Dampalit, was detained by Malabon police head Col. Albert Barot.
At 3:10 a.m., Malabon Police Sub-Station 7 personnel headed by PCpl Brian Alfred Alegarbes under the command of P/Major Patrick Alvarado conducted Oplan Galugad in M. Sioson St. Brgy. Dampalit during the investigation by PSSg Salvador Laklaken Jr.

They discovered the suspect in this location, busy investigating and holding two plastic sachets of suspected illegal drugs, clearly in violation of the curfew. The suspect was apprehended and two plastic sachets containing about.56 grams of suspected drugs with a standard drug price of P3,536.00 were taken from him.
Meanwhile, after allegedly clashing with officials in Nueva Ecija, two alleged illegal drug pushers were slain. Suspect Francis Liwanag, 37, was slain in a gunfight during an anti-narcotics operation in Brgy. Barrera, Cabanatuan City, according to authorities.
He was allegedly found with a.45 caliber gun, ammunition, and a sachet containing shabu. Reyelito Ramos, 42, was also slain in Talavera town’s Barangay Bantug Hacienda after allegedly exchanging gunfire in a buy-bust operation. He was allegedly found with a.38 caliber pistol and a sachet carrying drugs.
