COLDPLAY – The lead singer and pianist of Coldplay, Chris Martin, listed BTS’s latest single ‘Butter’ as one of the things he currently finds ‘helpful and wonderful’ in his life.

English singer-songwriter Chris Martin is the lead singer of the alternative rock band Coldplay. Their band achieved worldwide fame after the release of their song “Yellow.”

That song earned them their first Grammy Award nomination in the Best Rock Song category. The band has sold over 100M records worldwide and it made them one of the world’s best-selling music artists.

Lots of netizens claim that Coldplay might collaborate with the biggest boyband in the world, BTS, this year. Speculations started after Chris Martin was spotted signing an autograph at an airport in South Korea.

Last March, the K-pop band sang Coldplay’s classic hit ‘Fix You’ and it earned them a sweet compliment from the British rock band. They wrote ‘Beautiful’ in Korean and added 3 white hearts to the tweet.

In Coldplay’s recent Tweet, Chris Martin listed BTS “Butter” as one of the things he currently finds “helpful and wonderful” in his life. His name trended on Twitter after he recommended the K-pop group’s summer dance-pop song to his fans and followers.

The song was released on the video-sharing platform Youtube on Thursday, May 21. It has garnered 224 million views as of this writing. “Butter” also hit No.1 on the US iTunes chart within just 2 hours of its debut.
