Netizens bashed Angelica Panganiban because of her tweet against Red Cross Subic
Actress Angelica Panganiban elicited bashing after she ranted against Red Cross Subic as she claimed that they were neglected in a swabbing facility.
Through her Twitter posts, the actress aired her disappointment. She said that they waited for too long in the parking lot for their turn to get tested. Angelica also claimed that the frontliners chose to serve other people first who came later than them.
“Hello redcross subic!! Isang oras na kami sa dito sa parking area niyo. Nakaalis na din mga nakasabay namin. At inuna niyo pa yung ibang bagong dating. Okay lang naman kung palakasan 🙂 tweet ko na lang,” the actress posted on her Twitter account.
She also shared her past experience in the said swabbing facility. Angelica Panganiban said that the last she got tested, Red Cross Subic sent her an email saying that she was positive however, the attachment result stated otherwise. She also claimed that this was done in the whole Olongapo.
In line with this issue, based on the article in PEP, John Daniel Isabelo, a medical technologist in Red Cross Subic answered the rant of the actress. He said that they were lenient towards the actress. The frontliner stressed that Angelica should have waited in the queue for her turn just like other people who came there for a swab test and not waited in their car at the parking lot.
“Wala naman po sa parking area ang Verification Window namin. Sana try din po nila pumila kagaya ng mga normal na tao since pare-parehas lang naman sila ng ibinayad. Ni hindi nga po sila bumaba [ng sasakyan] para magpa-verify. Kami pa [ang] lumapit sa kanila sa sasakyan,” the Red Cross Subic employee revealed.
Another frontliner in the said swabbing facility called the actress “privileged”.
