2 ‘Maryjane’ Peddlers Arrested in a Buy-Bust Operation in Pampanga
Authorities arrested two (2) drug peddlers who yields P420K worth of illegal drug plant called “maryjane” in a buy-bust operation in Pampanga.
Two suspected drug pushers in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, were apprehended with more than 3.5 kilos of marijuana worth an estimated P420,000 yesterday. Aloicius Jerald Cunanan and Mikaela Dion dela Cruz were arrested in Purok 4, Barangay Pampang, Angeles City.

The arrest was made by a joint force of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office’s Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit-Provincial Intelligence (PDEA-UPI) and the Mabalacat Station Drug Enforcement Unit.
On Tuesday afternoon, an entrapment operation was carried out in Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City. However, one of the suspects’ accomplices managed to flee.
“With the constant arrest and neutralization of illegal drug personalities as well as the unremitting commitment of Central Luzon police force to stop its proliferation, illegal drug traders will have less opportunity to propagate illegal drugs,” Brig. Gen. Valeriano T. de Leon, director of Police Regional Office 3 in the released statement.
