John Lloyd Cruz is now part of Crown Artist Management
It’s confirmed! A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz is officially having his showbiz comeback under the Crown Artist Management (CAM) of Her Majesty Maja Salvador.
Lloydie and Maja have been friends for several years now and although they haven’t worked together for a long time, still the friendship between them remains. When the actress-dancer announced that she established her own talent management firm, speculations immediately surfaced that Lloydie will be one of her talents.
Just recently, CAM has announced the first batch of its talents and it showed the diversity of each one, and this brought excitement to showbiz fans.
Following that, a teaser was released with the hashtag “The CAM back is real” which brought another round of speculations that it is John Lloyd Cruz. The teaser only showed glimpses of a male’s body riding a private plane.
On May 15, Maja Salvador’s talent management firm finally unravel the mysterious male star and indeed it was the A-list actor. “We are happy to share with you the CAMback of the one and only John Lloyd Cruz, now under Crown Artist Management (CAM),” it stated in an Instagram post.
After the revelation of was released, the name of John Lloyd became a trending topic on social media. He took a break from the entertainment industry in 2017. ABS-CBN and Star Magic released a statement saying that he took an indefinite leave which brought shock to many as he was in a middle of a TV project.
At that time, his relationship with Ellen Adarna has started. In 2020, news of his comeback surfaced but apparently it was delayed due to the pandemic.
