Thuzar Wint Lwin’s Video Asking For Prayers For Peace In Myanmar During Miss Universe 2020 National Costume Competition Goes Viral

The Miss Universe 2020 national costume competition was held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, Florida. The much-awaited coronation night will also be held there. It will be aired on May 17 (Manila time) at 8 am on the A2Z channel.
The gorgeous candidates just showcased their country’s culture through their traditional outfits. Pageant fans can vote for their favorite candidates on the Miss Universe website until 11:59 pm on May 15.
In a previous article, Philippines’ bet Rabiya Mateo is among the candidates who turn heads in the venue. The Ilongga beauty queen wore something that symbolizes the Philippines.
Her national costume was created by jewelry designer Manny Halasan and the late Rocky Gathercole. It represents the flag of the Philippines where it showed an equal balance of dominance in colors of strong red and blue. There are also 3 stars that signify the major regions of the country: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Miss Universe Myanmar 2020 Thuzar Wint Lwin also caught the attention of the viewers after she paused in the middle of the stage and showed a banner that says “Pray for Myanmar.” The Burmese beauty queen made sure to carry out a powerful message during the national costume competition.

Mass protests have been taking place across Thuzar Wint Lwin’s country, Myanmar since the military took control of the country. Hundreds of people including children have died since the military coup.
A few days ago, the beauty queen said she lost her luggage in Los Angeles on May 6. She claimed it was the airline’s fault because “they didn’t bring my luggage.”
“All of my dresses and evening gown are in that luggage. I have nothing to wear now. I have been asking the airport and trying everything I can. They don’t even know where my luggage is…”
“Also my final evening gown (is there),” she added.
