Gov. Jonvic Remulla slammed this post of Kim Atienza
The remark of TV host Kim Atienza against Thai superstar Mario Maurer received a reaction from Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla.
To recall, Mario was asked in an interview if he has an idea that Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo is his fan. The Thai actor said that he is aware of it and gave his good luck message to the Pinay beauty queen.
Kuya Kim reacted to this with fiery words. He slammed the Thai actor and said that Rabiya is not his fan but Kakai Bautista is. However, the news personality said that the camp of Mario has done too much damage to the Pinay comedian due to the demand letter issue.
On the other hand, Rabiya expressed her fangirling mode after knowing that she received a message from Mario which is proof that she is a fan contrary to what Kim Atienza said.
That statement of Kuya Kim against the Thai actor received a reactions from Governor Jonvic Remulla. In his tweet, he said this, “Quite unbecoming for a news personality to be conducting himself like that. Good luck @Rabiyamateo11! You need all the support you can get. Make the country proud [crown emoji].”
Based on the article in PEP, the Cavite Governor already deleted this post on Twitter. However, it was first reported in an article in Daily Tribune.
Recalling, this is not the first time that Kim Atienza vocally defended Kakai Bautista regarding the issue with Mario Maurer. During the height of the issue, the news personality also slammed the Thai actor.
