PNP Chief Guillermo Eleazar Warns Erring Cops in Uniform on His Adiministration
The newly installed Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Guillermo Eleazar warns against the erring cops in uniform during his administration.
The new hailed PNP Chief set out his intentions as the new head of the PNP during his speech during the change of command ceremony in Camp Crame, including the cleaning of the police force’s ranks. He has issued a warning to the strange police officers that he will not tolerate corruption in his government.
“Sa mga natitirang hoodlum in police uniforms, sisiguraduhin ko sa inyo, you will hate me.

Meanwhile, the new Chief stated that physical activity could not be used as a punishment for individuals who will be caught violating quarantine protocols or quarantine violators by the police, but rather by the courts or local government units.
Violators of the quarantine protocol, according to Eleazar, will be disciplined based on local ordinances and recommendations from the Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 response.
“In the first offense, fine or fine, the second can be filed there. Maybe in other ordinances, the first offense is community service, that will be followed,” he explained.
