Kim Chiu talked about this one insecurity that she has
It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu admitted that she has this certain insecurity during a recent episode of ABS-CBN’s noontime show.
Kim, from being a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother, has paved her way to stardom. She is now in her 15th year in the entertainment industry and has done successful movie and TV projects in this span of time.
Aside from her acting stints, she also has become a regular host of the Kapamilya noontime, even though she felt that not everyone wanted her to be one of the show’s mainstays.
The Cebuana actress also exudes confidence on the dance floor. She is dubbed the Queen of the Dance Floor of ASAP Natin ‘To, however, admittedly, she said that she has an insecurity.
Based on the article in Pang-Masa, during a recent episode of It’s Showtime, one of the topics that was tackled insecurities and imperfections. Vice Ganda asked Kim Chiu if she feels this.
“Ako? Nahihiya ako, hindi ko kayang makipag-usap sa mga fluent English,” the Chinita Princess admitted. The Unkabogable Star answered her, “ha??? Daldal-daldal mo rito, hindi mo nga maintindihan kung kelan ka hihinto.”
Kim answered that when it comes to speaking English, she is not that confident unlike when she’s speaking in Tagalog. Vice boosted her by saying that she is good in English.
“Pag tinapat mo na ako sa totoong English-speaking, medyo ano na tayo dyan… ’ah, thank you, talk to you later,’” she quipped. Vice answered that even Americans are not perfect in speaking the English language but some Filipinos are very particular when it comes to this.
