The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro was officially announced on March 10, 2021. The 5G-ready gaming phone is powered by the Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 660.

Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro runs on the Android 11 + ROG UI operating system. The smartphone is integrated with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The dimension of the gaming phone is 172.8 x 77.3 x 10.3 mm and weighs 238 grams. It is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus), a glass back (Gorilla Glass 3), and an aluminum frame. ROG Phone 5 Pro comes with a screen size of 6.78 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels.

Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro sports a triple-camera setup at the back comprising of a 64-megapixel (wide) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) sensor. For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 24-megapixel (wide) camera.

It is powered by a 6000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 65W + reverse charging 10W + Power delivery 3.0 + Quick charge 5. The device was launched in a single color, Gloss Black.

Connectivity options on the ROG Phone 5 Pro include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, GALILEO, GNSS, QZSS, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, and USB On-The-Go. The phone’s sensors include fingerprint (under display, optical, gyro, accelerometer, compass, and proximity.
