Angel Locsin may face complaints due to unexpected incident at the community pantry
Barangay Holy Spirit Chairman Felicito Valmocina is set to file a case against actress Angel Locsin because of what happened during the birthday community pantry that she organized.
To recall, during the event, a senior citizen died while waiting for his turn to receive the grocery items. Photos taken at that time showed that the crowd was overflowing.
The supposed happy celebration with charitable endeavor became a tearful scenario for the actress. She apologized for what happened and promised to support the family of the deceased.
However, Valmocina stressed that Angel should be held legally liable also. In a previous report, it was stated that the barangay chairman said that the actress just asked for two tanod as she and her team intended to give for 300 persons only.
However, the village chief said that they were surprised that the area was very crowded and learned that some people there were not from his barangay. With this, Valmocina stressed that Angel shouldn’t have announced the event on her social media accounts with millions of followers.
In a recent report from DZRH News, Valmocina said that they are now compiling the statements as evidence against the actress for the filing of the case.
A report from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) stated that an estimated 10 thousand people went to Brgy. Holy Spirit on that day for the community pantry of Angel Locsin.
The village chief said in the interview that he does not mind getting negative comments but he will stick to the issue and will not give up on saying what really happened.
Reportedly, the chairman and his legal team are planning to file the case against the actress this week. Although it is not confirmed yet what is the exact case that Valmocina will file, he pointed out that it will be in line with the violation of the IATF protocol.
