According to Distor, the two were apprehended as part of an entrapment operation after receiving information that Citirock Spa, located at Arellano St. in Dagupan City, Pangasinan, was involved in the trafficking of women for intimate activity in exchange for money.
The suspects allegedly used the spa as a front for illegal activity, collecting a fee of P1,000 to P5,000 per customer for pleasure and extra service, according to the information. To apprehend suspects, an entrapment operation was launched right away.
NBI-DADO agents led by Agent in Charge (AIC) Rizaldy Jaymalin set up an entrapment operation in which the suspects were arrested after surveillance and confirmation of the details. The victims were saved after they were used by the perpetrators in their illegal practices.
The suspects charged with Human Trafficking were presented at the City Prosecutors Office of Dagupan City, while the rescued victims were handed over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD.
