Ellen Adarna revealed what she experienced with a live-in partner
Actress Ellen Adarna exposed her “nakakalokang” experience with her past live-in partner on a recent podcast with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
Ellen exudes independence and she was trained to be like this when she turned 18 years old. She said that she is in favor of having a live-in set up before tying the knot.
During the podcast on Pia’s show with other beauty queens, Ellen shared the bad experience she had with a past live-in partner.
She revealed that the guy was ill-mannered. “He would throw things at my yaya. Nakita ko ito after mga seven months, Doon na lumabas,” she said.
The actress said that this is maybe the reason why her relationships would not last long.
“Kasi hindi ako matiisin eh. Parang, ‘Ayoko na ‘to, so what’s the point?’ Sasabihin ko, ‘We lived in for months tapos ayoko na to be with this guy. I cannot see a future with this guy. So why would I waste my time?’” she stressed.
Ellen said that living together before the actual wedding is like a test drive for her. She also shared that it is much better for her to be with older guys or more matured as she reasoned out that they are more experienced and have more wisdom.
Meanwhile, the actress was also asked why she decided to get married with Derek. She explained that before, she thought that the guy is the culprit why her past relationships did not work.
However, she realized the same pattern and it was actually her. “It’s because I wouldn’t open up. I would hide it and keep it all in. I wouldn’t express how I really feel,” Ellen Adarna said.
When she worked out her inner self, that was the time when she had a different perspective.
