Overloading Jeepneys Apprehended by IATF Enforcers Along Antipolo Rizal for Allowing Passengers to Hang
The IATF enforcers apprehended the overloading jeepneys along Antipolo, Rizal during their operations for violating the health protocols.
On Tuesday morning (April 20, 2021), the enforcers of the Inter-Agency Council for Traffic or i-ACT apprehended the jeepneys violating the health protocols. Overloading jeepneys have been also apprehended.
The enforcers apprehended the jeepneys with passengers hanging at the back along Sumulong Highway near the end of Teresa, Rizal. The driver said another driver passed the passengers to him as he heads towards Pasig-Mandaluyong.
The i-ACT reminded the public utility vehicles that overloading remains prohibited as compliance with the policy of Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
The agency reminded the PUV driver that only 50 percent seating capacity is allowed. Other passengers have been order to get out of the jeepney to find another public transport to avoid the possible spread of the coronavirus disease.

i-ACT reported that they have apprehended about 10 jeepney for violating the health protocols such as not wearing of face shield. Three colorum vans have been impounded for picking up passengers.
The enforcers also apprehended over 15 motorcycle riders for wearing substandard helmets and not wearing helmets.
